Physical Therapy

Physical therapy is an important part of the recovery process for many injuries, illnesses and surgeries. At Spectrum Rehabilitation, our physical therapist teams work with patients one on one to help alleviate pain and inflammation, improve physical strength, reeducate muscles, and re-establish range of motion and functional ability.

We offer comprehensive physical therapy services, including a thorough initial evaluation so our therapists can develop personalized patient treatment programs. In conjunction with patient education and post-therapy (wellness) support, we strive to help shorten recovery time and ensure optimal outcomes. We incorporate a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation, on land or in the pool, focusing on, but not limited to:

  • Active myofacial release techniques
  • Balance training/proprioception
  • Gait (walking) training
  • Hot/Cold packs
  • IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization)
  • Iontophoresis
  • Kinesio taping
  • Manual therapy (hands on mobilization of soft tissue and joints)
  • NMES (Neuro Muscular Electric Stimulation)
  • Therapeutic exercises (range of motion, strengthening and progression)
  • Traction (manually or mechanically)
  • Trigger point dry needling
  • Ultrasound
